Because we partner with a carefully curated range of conscious creators and third-party suppliers, return and refund processes can vary depending on the item and brand. Some may offer change-of-mind returns, others may not. We’re here to help facilitate the initial connection—but please note: returns and refunds are ultimately handled by the supplier.

How Returns Work

We do not warehouse or dispatch products ourselves. Each item is shipped directly from a third-party supplier. As such, The Conscious Cart does not process returns or refunds directly.
If you’d like to return an item, we can help connect you with the relevant supplier, but we make no guarantees regarding their decision or timeline. By purchasing, you agree that The Conscious Cart is not responsible for return outcomes.

Please contact us first

To start a return or refund request, email us at hello@theconsciouscart.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you’d like to return
  • Reason for the return
  • Photos (if applicable)
We’ll help direct your request to the relevant supplier. From there, all return decisions, instructions, and eligibility criteria are at the discretion of that supplier.

What’s Typically Not Eligible:

  • Change of mind
  • Wrong size or colour choice (unless there was an error on our end)
  • Delayed shipping (shipping times vary by supplier and are outside our control)
  • Opened or used items (especially personal care or hygiene-related items)

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll forward the issue to the supplier and support you in making a claim. Any resolution—including replacement, refund, or store credit—will be determined by the supplier, in line with their policy and Australian Consumer Law.

Return Costs

Unless the product is deemed faulty by the supplier, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and must be arranged directly with the supplier.

Our Role

The Conscious Cart is a platform that connects you with beautiful, mindful brands—but we do not accept liability for third-party supplier policies or decisions. While we’re happy to point you in the right direction, all returns, refunds, and exchanges are managed by the supplier themselves.
